As an Oregon Board of Professional Counselors supervisor candidate Sarah Lenhart, LPC is able to provide clinical supervision services to registered LPC interns from Board-Approved Oregon graduate programs seeking licensure.
Clinical supervision is defined as an ongoing supportive relationship between the LPC-Intern and the board supervisor candidate focused on developing the individual’s professional identity, enhancing clinical skills, providing support and when necessary remediating ethical concerns. My goal is engage in a collaborative relationship, where I can encourage and challenge you to expand your skill set, define your theoretical orientation and gain confidence in your practice.
As per the Oregon State Board, interns can choose to have individual supervision only or half individual and half group supervision to meet their monthly requirements. Supervision sessions are typically 90 minutes and are often scheduled throughout the month to ensure that individuals receive ongoing support.
