Specializing in partnering together for healing with people of color
My Philosophy and Approach:
I believe that every person deserves to be treated holistically and with dignity and compassion in every aspect of their life. As a neurodivergent-, queer-, parent-, body positive-, and spiritual-allied therapist and human, our work together will be built on mutual trust and alliance, grace, and sincerity. My primary goal as a therapist is to help Black, Brown, and Indigenous peoples heal. My secondary goal is to passionately support and guide ALL people that cross the threshold of my therapy office to seek and find empowerment and strength within themselves.
WHAT I’M LIKE AS A THERAPIST
I treat holistically, compassionately and empathetically; you are NOT your struggles or your pain, but a whole person who deserves to be seen and heard. Each person who crosses the threshold of the therapy room has unique needs and challenges which means that I employ a variety of approaches to meet those concerns including narrative therapy, contextual therapy, family systems therapy, internal family systems therapy, internal self-compassion therapy, couples counseling, trauma focused therapy, and solution focused therapy.
Therapy may not always be easy or comfortable as I challenge you to explore, evaluate and re-evaluate your life, but I bring authenticity, transparency and humor (and a dash of sass) to the table which often helps the process.

Personal Interests: I am a strong advocate of social justice. The Black Lives Matter movement is very important to me. I am quite busy as a single mom raising 3 children and caring for 2 dogs, a cat, 2 fish, 2 frogs, a snail, several shrimp, and 2 axolotls. I enjoy taking care of my houseplants, fall and winter hiking, mountain biking, reading suspense novels, acrylic painting, and creating macrame art pieces.
