    Emma Guthrie

I believe in the human capacity to change, grow, and thrive. My goal is to help you build strength, resilience, and intuitive self-awareness. I will collaborate with you on your healing journey and listen without judgement. I celebrate the strength of vulnerability, reclaiming power, and exploring strengths. In sessions, I am collaborative and empowering, inviting new perspectives, reflections, and engaging you in new tools to work with.

Our work together begins with a strong and meaningful therapeutic alliance, establishing a safe space for healing and recovery. I integrate brain- and body-based techniques, incorporating elements of mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, expressive arts and activities, and neuroscience-informed techniques. During our sessions, you may be invited to participate in creative modes of expression-including through play, art, or music. I will provide compassion, challenge, and authenticity along the way. I want you to leave sessions feeling confident and in control of your life’s story.

“When we deny the story, it defines us. When we own the story, we can write a brave new ending.”
