Karina Lopez, MA

I believe that mental health is of utmost importance in order to function as a healthy individual and that it also affects and relates to our physical, emotional and spiritual health. I believe all of these areas are interconnected and have an impact on how we view ourselves, those around us and how we perceive our world.

I work with tweens, teens and adults, ages 10+

What I'm Like as a Therapist

My desire as a counselor is to create an atmosphere for clients to share their hearts and minds, while giving genuine respect, empathy and acceptance. I see it as a privilege to walk alongside someone in the midst of life challenges and I am committed to supporting and encouraging growth and change within the therapeutic process. My focus is on helping you to become the best version of yourself and to hold a non-judgmental space for that exploration.

Personal Interests

I love singing and playing guitar, going on hikes and enjoying good food with friends.

“You are valuable because you exist. Not because of what you do or what you have done but simply because you are.”
