Sarah Lenhart

As the Clinical Director with Selah Counseling & Wellness I am passionate about supporting our clients and clinicians to live more authentic and integrated lives.  I often support our team by providing intake assessments, where I enjoy painting the picture with the client of their past, present and hopes for the future.

I entered the field of counseling with a passion to support individuals and families in breaking negative cycles in their lives for greater freedom and authenticity.  I provide empathic support while employing challenges, positive reframes and at-home activities to continue your therapeutic gains and growth outside the session.

What I'm Like as a Therapist

I am transparent, candid and present in my work.  I will challenge your thinking and encourage you to push your limits while supporting you to feel empowered.  I will not give advice or answers, but I will encourage you to explore the actions that will support your best life story.   I laugh, I curse and I may integrate some appropriate life examples.  You will always know you are with another real authentic ballsy human.

Personal Interests

I keep busy with my two young children and love to take them on adventures to the Coast or up the river, I enjoy reading and period-piece films or miniseries (Downton Abbey, anybody?), am obsessed with Brené Brown and like to bake pies (but not cook).

"Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we'll ever do."
