Amy Geske

I am passionate about empowering individuals by meeting them where they are on their mental health journey. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where people feel free to be themselves despite the pressures and noise of the world around them. I have experience working with individuals and couples navigating trauma, depression, and anxiety that have significantly impacted their daily lives and hope for the future. I believe healing begins with self-compassion, and I strive to help clients recognize that it is okay to not be okay—and that their struggles do not define who they are. Through collaboration, I support clients in building resilience, gaining insight, and moving toward meaningful, lasting change.

What I'm Like as a Therapist

As a counselor, I want to provide a safe, trusting, and accepting environment where clients feel empowered to take an active role in their healing while working collaboratively toward their goals. I am passionate about meeting clients where they are and supporting them as they navigate life’s challenges by developing effective coping skills, building resilience, and identifying meaningful solutions that enhance their daily lives. I believe that growth often begins by quieting the noise of the outside world and creating space for reflection. In a world filled with constant demands and distractions, taking time to sit in the quiet allows individuals to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and values, leading to more intentional choices. My goal is to help clients move through life challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion as they discover their own path toward healing and inner peace.

I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, reading (well, audiobooks), swimming, running, and just enjoying being out in nature.
