As a therapist I prioritize a shame-free environment mixed with a bit a humor to foster a strong therapeutic relationship. I believe that my clients are the experts in their own lives, and they should feel empowered in the sessions to discuss what they feel is important. I maintain a balance of meeting clients where they are at while also gently challenging them to dig deeper into their inner worlds. I draw from several different modalities to match client needs with a focus on Internal Family Systems and Feminist Narrative Therapy.
In my free time I love spending time with my family and pets, playing video games, meeting with my D&D group, and watching ridiculous amounts of reality TV.
"No one ever shamed themselves into better mental health."
I focus on working with clients who have or suspect they have ADHD and/or Autism. With both lived experience and education in neurodivergency, I help clients tackle the challenges that may arise while living in a neurotypical world. We work together to address symptoms of depression and anxiety, gaining self-confidence, and finding affective coping skills.
I am passionate about working with people from the LGBTQIA+ community and strive to provide affirming care. I have experience working with people who are exploring their gender and sexual orientation, ethical non-monogamy, and kink.
Experiencing trauma can feel isolating and impact all aspects of our lives.I help clients recover from trauma by build coping skills for self-empowerment and processing the ways it has impacted the way we view ourselves and the world.
