I delight in working with children and families as a therapist. Kids are so wonderful and I love supporting them and their relationship with their parents. This includes helping clients gain coping skills to face this world today, skills to manage anxiety, depression, to verbally express needs, and to manage behaviors. This includes supporting parents through family therapy, working on parenting strategies, and including parents in the therapy process as their child develops skills. I enjoy seeing connection and family growth in those I work with.

I have often been told by kid clients that I am friendly, warm, and calm. Getting to know my clients is a priority and understanding what may or may not work for them helps me to offer a person centered approach. My work with clients often includes art projects, crafts, play, and games. I enjoy meeting clients where they are at and supporting them in the moment. Tantrums, tears, fears, behaviors, and attitudes are all a part of the process. I enjoy spending time with clients acknowledging feelings, determination, sass, stubbornness, and willfulness as strengths and exploring how they can use these qualities productively. I work hard to build a safe supportive relationship with clients and their families so they can have a comfortable space to share, process, and seek support. I find it rewarding to see clients find their voice and be able to communicate their needs to those around them.
I love spending time with my husband and 3 children. I am often busy with my kids sports and activities, going on family adventures, and keeping everyone fed. My faith grounds me. I have a love for gardening, essential oils, podcasts, Starbucks, and spending time with family and friends.
“Enter into children’s playand you will find the place where their minds, hearts, and souls meet.”
I love supporting children in developing skills and with their relationship with siblings, peers and parents. I partner with clients to gain coping skills in navigating our world today, skills to manage anxiety, depression, to verbally express needs, and to manage behaviors.
Working on goals, solutions, and coping skills is often a part of the work I do along with strengthening the parent-child relationship. I love seeing families grow closer together. I celebrate with clients as they put into use coping skills and tools.
This includes supporting parents through family therapy, working on parenting strategies, and including parents in the therapy process as their child develops skills.
