What I'm Like as a Therapist

I see each client as unique and the experts on themselves. I work alongside the client to help them identify and achieve the change or goals that they want for themselves. I believe that there is no one size fits all approach to therapy and I will always work to meet the client where they are at and with the approaches that best suit them. I aim to create a safe, trauma-informed, and non-judgmental space to help the therapeutic process.

Personal Interests

I have two dogs that always work to keep me busy. I also love reading and trying new recipes and foods.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE

Individual Growth & Self Esteem

Each individual comes with their own unique set of personal identity, experience, and beliefs. They come with their problems, goals, and dreams for their future selves. Together, we figure out how to deal with the variables in life and move forward with enhanced self-worth, self-empowerment, and sense of self

Anxiety & Mood Disorders

Depression and anxiety are common struggles that many people face during different points in their lives. I work to normalize and validate what you are feeling, and work with you to better understand how your brain is responding. I can help to find the skills to regulate, as well as behavioral and cognitive changes.

Life Changes & Transitions

Major life changes can impact in many ways and feel entirely overwhelming. I love to work with clients to identify goals and ways to regain control when things feel new and uncertain.

Teens, Tweens, & Young Adults

Some of the biggest shifts and changes happen within these periods in your life and I love to walk beside you to discover how to manage your sense of self and your ability to grow in relation to increasing expectations and responsibilities.
