Selah Counseling & Wellness is seeking self motivated and growth oriented Oregon Board registered Associate clinicians (or the ability to fulfill the requirements) for both part and full time roles, who would like to further develop their niche within the industry, with paid mentoring and training provided to join our team.

 

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct biopsychosocial intake assessments including DSM 5 TR diagnosis.
  • Provide clinical mental health counseling services to a diverse caseload of clients (children, tweens, adolescents, families/couples and adults)
  • Engage clients in collaborative mental health treatment planning with measurable objectives supporting diagnosis and symptom management
  • Adhere to all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed with Selah Counseling & Wellness
  • Engage in team communication and requests including responding in a timely manner
  • Participate in peer review, clinical consultation and training opportunities
  • Engage in [paid] clinical supervision each month in accordance with your Board

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must possess an Oregon registered Associate number or have the ability to qualify as a registered Associate within a timely manner with the appropriate Board (OBLPCT/OBLSW)
  • Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Child & Family Counseling or Clinical Social Work
  • Candidates must be able to practice in the State of Oregon without restrictions.
  • Pre-licensed registered Associates must be in good standing with their Board
  • Applicants are required to pass a criminal background check
  • Applicant’s values must align with the practice’s of transparency and growth
  • Ability to learn and utilize computer based electronic health record software
  • Candidates need to be willing to panel with health insurance carriers

 

Applicant Experience & Skills:

  • 1+ years of experience providing mental health services preferred
  • Experience with assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Strong documentation and clinical writing skills
  • A belief in the reality of the medical model, requirement for individualized treatment plans and need to establish medical necessity
  • Candidates must be self-motivated and take initiative
  • Candidates must be accountable and responsible for tracking their caseloads
  • Candidates must possess a strong work ethic and resilience
  • Desire and willingness to be trained and mentored
  • Working knowledge of the principles and techniques of family and child therapy

 

Schedule:

  • Selah Counseling & Wellness offers part-time (12-20 client sessions per week) or full-time (24 minimum-26+ client sessions per week) positions
  • Flexible scheduling including late start options
  • Clinician schedules may vary depending on client needs; hours include at least one weekday evening

 

Compensation

  • Competitive commission-based reimbursement starting at 40% of billed client hours, which is between $60-$83 per client hour (varies by insurance type & billing code)
  • Annual equivalent of $80,000 – $85,000+ a year for full-time 24+ client hours/week
  • Paid clinical supervision, case consultation and mentoring opportunities
