    Job Summary & Responsibilities:
    • Provide clinical counseling services to clients (children, adolescents, adults, families & couples) of Selah Counseling & Wellness in accordance with company policies.
    • Collaborate with clients for treatment planning and treatment plan reviews
    • Adhere to all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed with Selah Counseling & Wellness.
    • Engage in team communication and requests including responding in a timely manner to team members.
    • Participate in peer review, clinical consultation and training opportunities
    • Engage in clinical supervision each month, up to 3 hours
    • Timely (within 48 hours) completion of written client records including, but not limited to: progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, and other forms or documentation

    Qualifications:
    • Applicants must hold a Master or Doctoral level degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology.
    • Candidates must be a pre-licensed registered associate with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists (OBLPCT) or the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers.
    • Candidates must be able to practice in the State of Oregon without restrictions.
    • Pre-licensed registered associates must be in good standing with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists or the Board of Licensed Social Workers.
    • Applicants are required to pass a criminal background check.
    • Candidates must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and integrity and ability to comply with documentation requirements.
    • Applicant’s values should align with the practice’s mission of addressing the whole person in a holistic clinical care approach.
    • Candidates are required to have computer skills and the ability to learn and utilize electronic health record software. Current EHR is TherapyNotes
    • Candidates need to be willing to panel with health insurance carriers. Selah does this for you, but we want to clarify we are not a cash only agency
    Preferred Applicant Experience & Skills:
    • 1+ years of experience providing mental health services with direct client contact hours counseling individuals, families, and/or groups preferred.
    • Ability to work with a broad age range including adolescents.
    • Working knowledge of the principles and techniques of family and child therapy and experience providing services to child, adolescent and family therapy clients.
    • Experience and commitment to counseling couples and/or families
    • Training and experience with EMDR Therapy highly desired
    • Experience or willingness to work with children and teens 
    Schedule:
    • Selah Counseling & Wellness offers part-time (12-20 client sessions per week) or full-time (24-28 client sessions per week) positions.
    • Clinician schedules may vary depending on client needs and hours may include some weekday evenings to be discussed.
    • Associate Clinicians generally start five days a week during training and can reduce to four days a week at 90 days if in compliance with job description and documentation requirements.
    Locations:
    • Clinicians are able to work a hybrid role of telehealth/remote and in office work.
    • Selah has it’s headquarters in the Island Park area of Springfield, OR.
    • Additionally we are creating an office space in Junction City opening this Spring to provide services to this undeserved community and surrounding areas
    • We are exploring opportunities in Cottage Grove, another community with limited resources and services
    • Potential for Portland expansion in the future
    Compensation: 
    • Therapists are employees of Selah Counseling & Wellness LLC with compensation based on a fee for service productivity. Therapists work their preferred number of hours and are compensated at a rate based on the amount received from clients or insurers.
    • Associates initially are compensated at 35% of billed client hours
      • Associates increase to 40% and above based on increasing competence. which is approximately $60/client hour and equates to approximately $68,000+ a year based on a full-time 24+ client hours per week 
      • Salaried options for a five day schedule and full-time 28+ client hours per week to be discussed
    • Paid administrative time for team meetings, weekly peer review and mentoring
    • Selah is currently providing a signing bonus of $1000. The first installment of one half is paid at 90 days (from the day of seeing the first client) and $500 at one year of client-facing employment.
