As a therapist I enjoy using creativity and curiosity to create a uniquely safe space for each of my clients. I care about genuine connection between client and therapist and enjoy talking candidly at each client’s comfort level. I love to laugh and I am told that I am down to earth, and easy to talk to. I do not tell my client’s what to do but rather, foster a dynamic and environment where we can figure out together where there needs to be change, and what strengths are there to support that.
When I’m not working, you can often find me exploring nature with my spouse and cat, hiking and discovering waterfalls. In my free time, I also enjoy giving back to the community through volunteer work, growing plants, and sitting on my porch and watching the rain fall.
“When we touch curiosity, we graze the rim of infinite possibility.”
As a Marriage and Family therapist I have the training and skills to aid couples in their goals to reconnect, communicate, and find joy in each other. It takes hard work, and I am here to help you navigate the process.
I have extensive experience working with families to aid parents in understanding and attending to their children’s needs. I utilize an attachment based approach to help parents create security and trust in their relationships with their children.
What we have been through plays a large role in how we view ourselves. Sometimes it takes a little help to unravel and see the through lines. I enjoy utilizing a narrative approach to help clients of all ages tell their life story.
